I strongly disagree. The critially sharp portion is the lower left of the iris and it's tack sharp, hand-held, no post, on a panting dog. This is 100% crop out of the full frame. I'd suggest you try it sometime...crop to show pixel for pixel view, and I think you'll discover that this is isn't "weak" at all.
