Earls Court Exhibition Centre

Airplane

lower left (white roof structure).

Earls Court Two was constructed at a cost of £100m. The striking new barrel-roofed hall which links with Earls Court One via folding shutters is large enough to hold four jumbo jets, and the hall's 17,000 square metre floor is entirely column-free. The hall was opened by Diana, Princess of Wales on 17 October 1991

Immediately to its left if The Empress State Building. It was built in 1961 and was 100 metres (328 ft) tall with 28 floors. Disused for a number of years, it was renovated in 2003. Three floors and 17.3 metres (57 ft) were added to its height. 'Orbit' is the name given to the private revolving bar on the top floor which offers panoramic views of London.

Also in the image are the Olympia Exhibition (middle) and the Kings Mall Shopping Centre (middle left), and White City (upper right).
