Where We Eat

This town centre restaurant is located in the old newspaper offices where I worked for almost twenty years.
After I moved to the other local paper, the company changed hands the original premises were sold.
The ground floor is now a popular coffee shop and restaurant, while there is a nightclub upstairs where my office once was!

Oh please; don't pretend that there wasn't desktop dancing even when it WAS your office. This is very well exposed; it's as close as you'll get to the ideal compromise of getting enough exposure on the indoor component and not blowing out the outdoor component too much. What's also interesting is that it's a "shot of two halves"; the style of the buildings outside is such that they wouldn't have looked out of place in the 30's, and... actually upon reflection that's also true of the indoor part, save for the presence of the acrylic condiment dispensers which give it away as a modern cafe.
