Education - School's Out

It hasn't stopped raining today and there's serious flooding in several parts of the country.
This was taken from the car as I waited to collect my son from school-the last day of term before the Easter holidays.
The Marist College celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2011 and part of the school is housed in a listed building.
There are plans to built a new school near to the existing buildings which it is hoped will open in 2016.

Yes, the northern part of our state and Queensland have been having the same problem for... well, forever, it seems sometimes. A friend of mine up there mentioned that there had been the "chance of rain" every day for over 25 days up to early this month. Hope the floods haven't been too bad. I like how the tight crop allows a bunch of recurring patterns (the rectangle with the pointed top); the door, the sign, the gate.

Interesting old school building.The rain saturates the colour and makes interesting reflections. Lucky you able to sit in the car and keep dry.
