Dog Rose

The wild roses, or dog roses as they are also called, have started to bloom. I particularly like this creamy white one with its bright yellow centre. It was an appropriate picture to take when I was out walking
the dog this evening.

As long as Fudge didn't interpret the name as being "roses for dogs - consumption of". (He IS a Lab, after all.) "Nice DOF" is almost a comment cliche but this one was particularly effective, particularly with the leaves above the rose itself; the difference in focus really "pulls it out" from the background.
