The unseasonably mild weather is hanging on just to spite me. Hip, hip, hooray for me, as I managed to break-out this evening, and take Liam to his penultimate guitar lesson. While I was waiting to pick him up again, I passed by the funfair that has set up camp at the Riverside on Magdalen Green. Stroke of luck, or what, because it gave me something to photograph that didn't involve sitting under my halogen desk lamp! Once more, I'm not sure which I like better, so yet again you get two for the price of one. Aren't I generous to a fault!

Twelve months on and I'm waiting again!

Love the one you posted to PAD... fabulous color and motion. Nice framing to compliment the image (v)

Nice comp and steady hand, turned out well

I'd have to say the first shot. Love the "definition" in the "blur", if that makes sense.

Very Cool. I thought it was your tripod performing at a rock concert.

Positively psychedelic! Both are great and I'd hate to choose. So I guess demographics play out the same worldwide. Interesting.

Great colours and movement.

Wonderful! Even better than the other shot. Voted!
Karen Leaf07-Oct-2005 02:26
Both are cool-I like #2 a little better cause there's more to see.

Way good; my kind of photo!

Most generous you are. With your knowledge of the voters I have one disagreement. Just because the elderly group is not as educated bookwise, does not mean they are dumb.

Very nice shots Stewart. The second one is exceptional. Very well done.
As for that book, it sounds like someone has put in a lot of work to quantify the obvious. As boring as it sounds, I hope you were paid well, although I am sorry it’s nearing the end. The telling of your travails has been very entertaining. :)

Great shot

Fun bright colors.
Zak06-Oct-2005 21:41
as Al said, it could be worse, if you didn't have any work you'll have to live on £40 a week! :-/
take all the work you can get! nice shots...
Lee Rudd06-Oct-2005 21:31
you stay awake translating this!? Excellent lights contrasting with the deep blacks - oh, and intelligent framing
J. Scott Coile06-Oct-2005 21:29
Wonderful "light show"! Super exposure. You need to take a break and enjoy the weather for a day :)
suse06-Oct-2005 21:19
Really wonderful shot. Love the colours and composition. The second shot looks far more spooky. You really seem to have captured the carnivalesque side to the funfair...(or maybe its just my mood!)
Al Chesworth06-Oct-2005 21:18
Both images are good, must say I prefer this one, don,t complain about work.
I complain when I don't have any.
