This morning I went on a field trip with my Intro to Photography teachers current class. This was taken in color, converted to grayscale (so I could get to duotone), played with channel mixer, then duplicated that layer, then converted to "duotone" while only using the "monotone" selection and then adjusted the 10, 20, 30, 40 percent colums to taste on the new layer. Then finally adjusted the duotone layer to 55% opacity to get back the detail in the eye that was lost from playing with the "monotone" percentage. Changed back to RGB so I could save as a jpg. First time trying this. I am sure there is a better way that is shorter to get to the same results but for now it was fun to try something different.
So since I didn't know anyone it was easy to take pictures of strangers.
Tom, my Photo instructor, asked me to assist him with five weddings over the next five weekends. This might be the right time to get a big honkin lens.
Please let me know before you use my images so we wont have to get the lawyers involved! :)
