Beaver hut

Mr. and Mrs. B have chosen to build their house with all local materials in an attempt to look
more like they are a part of their surroundings rather than just a house.
Frank Lloyd Wright would have been proud.
The ice is about four inches thick here.
Makes a whole new world available to me.

This is so neat. People could learn a lot from beavers.

What intelligent little creatures they are, that little hut would be like living in a compost heap - warm & cosy! Wonderful photo!

I love beavers. Can you walk on the ice? Neat capture. I bet they're staying home.
