Soft push ...

There have been a few references to eating added this morning so
I thot I would add that I believe this to be a Fly Agaric mushroom
This is a killer ... generally if a mushroom is pretty it will kill you.

Another way to look at it is that the edible mushrooms are usually found by
slugs first and have a few bites out of them before you can get a good picture.

Both, my aunt and my grandmother used to take me in the woods to hunt for mushrooms - Now I would not dare to do it on my own.

Pretty mushroom. I've seen these yellow ones. They must be common. Go ask Alice. :) Nice close up and I like the leaf and twigs. They contribute to the naturalness of the setting.
