Walking on the playa toward the south summit

Floating Island, Utah view map


Photographically speaking, the south summit of Floating Island stands behind me and Joe Tripod stands in front of me. In terms of hiking progress, though, the summit is ahead of me and Joe behind.
Neither one moved in the slightest during this photographic effort.
