The museum is a modest collection of photographs and WW2 memorabilia housed in the operations building, which is next to the historic control tower. The collection includes a scale model of the airfield (at wartime) in a glass case. A visit is worthwhile. Also worthwhile is a visit to the Wendover Welcome Center, on the main street in West Wendover: more cool photos.
The elevation here is 4240 feet (1293m) above sea level.
