October 2009 (going home)

Snoqualmie Pass, Washington

This is an end-of-trip shot; an hour later I was pulling into my driveway.
Weather at the pass was lousy: heavy overcast and light rain.

Ralph Tripod, my photographic assistant when I am close to the car
(he's heavy), was unfazed by the weather and the proximity to home.

Dave, Joe was present but off duty. When shooting close to the car, Ralph fills the support role. He's not my brother, he's heavy (and therefore sturdier than Joe).

What happened to Joe, downsized because of the economy ?
