Habitat - Smallest Philippine woodpecker, common in lowland and montane forest and edge,
in understory and canopy.

This capture of the smallest woodpecker in our islands (a Philippine endemic) shows the bird in a better profile and with cleaner surrounding than the photo of the same species it replaces in the Top 25 list.
