13th November 2007 - which to choose?

Oh yes, time is drawing near…..

Our carpets are on their way, we’ve got all of our painting done.

The furniture is mostly moved – only the bits we need for tonight still in situ.

Now, we wait – well, DM does actually because I’m off on a journey now and won’t be back until the excitement is all over.

Poor DM – he gets all of this upheaval and I get to swan around the place yet again.

BUT these came in the post today, from a supplier. They’re fabric swatches for curtains. Ooohhhhh now which to choose? The dark grey or the light grey? What do you think?

Which goes best with the light grey of the walls? Or even the light grey of my hand?

Fear not, dear viewer, I have not gone all monochrome. You can bet your socks that the dark grey is in fact…..well, you’ll just have to wait and see and as for the light grey, well, that’s erm I can’t say at the moment.

What I can tell you is they’re both as tactile and as deliciously touchable as anything I’ve experienced today, other than DM’s skin and my babies’ fur. Yum yum, I am going to spend a lot of time fondling these curtains I reckon.

By the time we’ve got them in place and the delicious wooden things and the scrummy sofas, I am going to be in touch heaven.

Last year - was it the folies bergere where I was seeing a row of bottoms all covered in feathers to spare the modesty of the owners? Nope - it was my very own fat bottomed girls, in a row, sheltering from the rain.

I can never choose colours... best to go with a bit of each :-).

wow lovely texture, I like the dark one. I bet it's not gray at all.

Hmm, if the rooms dark, go for the light, if the room is light go for the dark.. er, or something like that...!! Sure it'll look fab!! Enjoy the touching!! ;o)
