27th October 2005 - void

There is nothing but blackness in my heart and my head. I have nothing to give and can muster no strength to mend myself. My grip weakens further on my dreams. I’m done.

This time last year, I was recovering from my op and the year before, my grindstone was the subject of my pic.

Take a good step back Linda. One of the things I've learnt is that no-one is indispensable and no one cares if you get burnt out...I've seen it happen to a number of people and within a few days they are forgetten and someone new is in their place. And, it's not possible to do a good job when you are feeling like this. So you must put yourself first for once and do as Beth says... say NO and say it loud.

You need to say no and quick or you will end up being a complete mess for months. You are worth what you want. Be strong and do what you need to do for you. Hint: being strong can mean putting your feet up and having a cup of tea by the way. This is complete craziness that you have pushed yourself to this. Be kind, gentle and loving to yourself and slow down! Trust that you will be taken care of. And remember to breathe. Call if you need to. Love Beth xoxoxo
