28th October 2005 - crumbs of comfort

I’m not feeling up to much today still but I do need to say a huge Thank You to all of the people who look in at my PBASE. I know yesterday that many folks were obviously very worried by my posting and it’s true to say that the last time I felt that low was when I discovered what my philandering ex-husband was up to. What has given me much comfort was the fact that that photo has been hit probably three times more often than I’d have expected and that can only mean people have been waiting to see if I’m OK.

Tonight I’m in the care of DMs family and it’s a nice place to be. I don’t have to take responsibility for anything at all.

So, no stories, big or small, just a small me thanking everyone out there for their kindness, which has made me feel very loved.

Two years ago, I was 'getting published' and last year, the first serious work on the house was being done - the roof.

Thank god you are OK. Was about to send the troops out to see if you were still with us. Be kind to you, OK. The world is a better place with you in it happy and healthy. B xx

I am sure a soft, melting brie is a metaphor for some aspect of life but I can't quite see what it is. Never mind, I hope things improve and life again becomes as enjoyable as a good cheese (if you knew my love for cheese you would know this is a genuine sentiment!). You do know, however, that cutting the nose off the brie is extremely bad manners!
