18th March 2004 - I'm drowning...

This entry in my diary is short because I’m literally drowning in work at the moment. This little brass elephant looks happier than I feel but I didn’t want you to think I’m ungrateful.

I may come back to it tomorrow and explain a bit more but for now a symbolic photo and an apology for not keeping up with my correspondence but there is something I need to do.

There is a man waiting for me downstairs – a very special man and I want to spend what little there is left of the evening with him after I’ve been working for twelve hours again today. I promised I’d never give him the excuse that my ex-husband had (me working long hours and being away all the time) to ‘seek his pleasures elsewhere’ and I intend to keep my promise. We have to be apart next week but for now this is his time.

Fantastic shot, everything is lit well, and those bubbles look cool stopped in time.

What a beautiful picture, Linda. The water's form, the elephant's gold, all encased by a simple bowl against black. I hope your weekend is a good one!

how very special he must be and must feel . . I applaud your conviction to give him "this time" because your time is your best & dearest gift. It SHOULD be given to someone as important & special as he IS!!
we'll ALWAYS be here . .go have fun!
