I hate prepping for painting and David hates painting so we make a perfect combination of skills and likes. I've been painting the kitchen while he's been doing electrical stuff.

One of my charms(?!) is that I'm very messy with everything I do - the kitchen always looks like the scene of a war after I prepare a meal so you can imagine the devastation when I paint. I've been wearing a Spurs Shirt (circa 1997 away - yucky purple), pants and a big smile while sloshing paint around all over the place. By the time I'd finished swearing and painting I had paint everywhere including between my toes and in my ears. Yuck.

Still the ceiling is done and the walls are sized - next egg yolk yellow on the walls - cool!
