In 1851 a lighthouse was built on Little Samphire Island in Tralee Bay.
A large bronze sculpture of Saint Brendan was added in 2004.
Great Samphire Island is a small rock around which is built the harbour and port of Fenit.
'Samphire' is a small flowering plant used in cookery and lends its name to these two islands.
Caherconree is a mountain peak on the Dingle Peninsula.
At 835 m, it is the second-highest peak of the Slieve Mish Mountains and the 26th highest on the island of Ireland.
