Sally Lightfoot meets Lava Heron

Santa Fe Island, Galapagos Islands

The theory is that Sally Lightfoot crabs only show their bright yellow-red coloration when they are sexually mature and large enough not to be of interest to hungry predators. Obviously nobody told this heron.
