Hi Eminence Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson (born 11-Oct-1948) is a Ghanaian Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church.
He is the current President of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace since his appointment by Pope Benedict XVI on 24-Oct-2009.
He was elevated to Cardinal in 2003 and prior to that had served as Archbishop of Cape Coast. [Reference: Wikipedia]
