A Beacon for the Bold

I've been shooting dozens of lighthouses for several months now. It's my new fascination. I've shot lighthouses from every which angle. High, low, near, far, down a pier, looking straight up the tower, straight down from the parapet, through windows and portholes, etc. You name it, I've probably done it. So, to fit the requirement of shooting in a different way that I have before, I realized pretty much all of my lighthouse shots are shots of the lighthouse all by itself. I decided to give the lighthouse a little bit of context. The lighthouse is there to guide boats, so here it is with a boat.

Great colour! I love the detail in the sail.
