The first mosquito of the season today. Have already been bitten by the first blackflies and have found the first deer tick on me. Just waiting for my first deer and horse flies! This one is boring into my hand.

The mark of a dedicated photographer - camera first, mosquito squash second! I've found a freshly sliced onion - preferably a noise moist one - take the itch out of a bite. If that doesn't work I use Benadryl gel. I'm very sensitive to mosquito venom.
