This is a peculiar looking little spider (perhaps 5 mm or so), which sits with its long legs stretched out in front like this, giving it an odd shape, not spider-like at all. She is guarding her eggs which are carefully wrapped in a blade of grass. I like the way that a vetch plant has twined around the grassy nest as if holding it in place.
