Eastern Box Elder Bug (Boisea trivittata)

This row of box elder bug eggs caught my eye. I love the way they form a line down to the tapered point of the Manitoba maple leaf. The bronzed ones are empty, or nearly ready to be hatched, but I don't know exactly what the red colour means on these eggs.
