Aphids (Uroleucon sp.)

These are beautifully, even strikingly coloured aphids. These are on a sunflower plant, which seems to be a main attractant for this genus. The little red droplets you can see on the top two are a defensive fluid, emitted when the insect feels threatened, in this case, no doubt by me and my camera.
