Is the other glass on the other side of the lamp? Great shot!

I agree . . I like Jeanb's idea . . .that looks the best (using Mark's technique w/ the piece of paper.)

Crop it. But I don't know where! There are so many possibilities that would work. Play around with the suggestions made. (I just hold paper to the screen and see.) I think Jean B may be right to crop very close left of the candle. I love the light. Very warm and romantic.

Nice ambience. I would suggest cropping to a vertical image, taking out 1/3rd of the lamp retaining nmost of the shadow on the R.

Lara,
You have some truly beautiful light here. I think it would probably look better cropped to one side - just experiment. I personally find it distracting that the lamp/candle is leaning over to the left a tad (about 0.5 degrees!). You can adjust this in PS too. Again, well done!

What does it look like with the right side cropped out? I agree w/ the off-center idea, but your glowfrom the candle is to the right & would be missed if removed completely . . . sure am glad YOU have to make the choice & not me. heeheehee

Hey Lara, I LOVE this very much!!

Very nice image..I would crop it from the left..leave the candle/wineglass off center however.

The tones are fanastic. Hmmm... how about cropping just under the base of the wine glass and that same perimeter all around the candle?

Lara,

I love the composition and the glow. That you asked, suggests that you've played with different crops and were not quite happy with the result. Its your photograph, so its really your choice. But since you asked ... I say crop! I'd keep it rectangular and off center, though ... maybe with the candle and wine glass to the left side of the frame.

Hmmm. The only way to find out is to do it and see!! LOL! I'd try a square crop, and if it looks better keep it, otherwise, you still have this pretty image. Let me know if you crop it, I'd like to see what you do!
