The native Australian plants have to contend with foreign invaders.
Plants like lantana and privet are just nasty and evoke a hostile
response. But something like this – what is it, a plum blossom? –
is not going to take over, so when you find it growing in the bush, it's
like meeting an inappropriately dressed English tourist, you just smile.
