They do... although that ice seems to be a tad recalcitrant about melting. This is a good use of the snow as a surface for the shadow projection. Might have been even better had you set the camera on timer and gone and made some bunny rabbit shadows with your hands from the far side of the fence.

I love shadows on the snow like this I always stop and look at them and I've noticed the brighter the sun the stronger the shadow. This is an excellent capture of the detailed shadows in this capture, Karen. \/
