Wish You Were Here

West Virginia

"So, so you think you can tell heaven from hell
Blue skies from pain
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?"
Pink Floyd

Poignant, bittersweet, but uplifting too, both words and image. The chair, alone, focused by the light, shows us someone is missing, but the memories are good ones. V

John King04-Feb-2012 20:54
Great sense of design with this. I like how yhe chair back interacts with the light and shadows and the sunlit seat provides a solid visual anchor. The empty chair is a great reference to the song. V.
