Warning Light

West Virginia

For the April Challenge - Scavenger Hunt. This one is Danger.

Shot with a Polaroid SX 70 using experimental PX 70 Push color film from The Impossible Project.

This is a vintage lantern used to warn night time drivers of hazards. It was manufactured into the 1960's. I imagine it was probably hard to see.

Other entries for the scavenger hunt can be viewed here.

I just realized it's an actual polaroid and not a PS effect :) Nicely done!

I like the polaroid effect and the muted red... gives it a vintage feel!

Warning!!! :) Nice old light. Could have been for antique too! :)

Either a railroad lantern or a beacon to the Red Light District. ;) A warning in order for either instance. Nice soft focus and red tones.
Best regards,
Dick:)

Excellent choice, and an interesting one too. The red lighting is perfect. V

I imagine it worked back then when people listened, learned, took heed and followed the rules unlike now when they think they know it all and cant be told :))

Good choice for danger, Karen!

The red tones are perfect for this one.
