Dusty Rose

Please, begging here for no cracks about my (lack of)housekeeping skills. Dragged this from the bottom of a box cause everything in my house has already shown up on the Pad Page sometime or other; it was this or the Chef Boy R Dee ravioli that I am at this moment (930p) having for dinner. One of those days.
Part of the Transglobal challenge, that Lee Rudd started http://www.pbase.com/reddishtiger/profile and which I've been watching faithfully. The other challenge I had with this, was to mess with the lighting. The basket is sitting on a jet black piece of poster board. So cool to be able to change the color with the f/stop :)

I thought we were still in the harbour - 'Dusty Rose' would be a great name for a ship!

"Changing colour with the f/stop" - ? -I need to think about that

Beautiful old metal detailing. Perfect shallow slice Karen!

Great minds eat alike.
We had the Stouffer's ravioli around about the time you posted this.
Great composition. I like how the handle goes diagonally across the shot.
Masterful control of the DOF.

I like the shallow depth and the beautiful pale rose.
As for houskeeping, I adore ravioli:)) LOL

Superb detail and dof. This really pops with the shallow dof.

Very good. And, Ravioli never killed anyone or I'd be a goner.
Bryan Ramsay11-Aug-2006 02:13
Sounds a s good as the Ravioli that I just heated up ;0) Nice composition, even better discipline! -BJ
