You know, you can eat the fruit of the kousa dogwood. It has a consistancy like mango. I just found this out. I have no idea whether eating it is recommended, I simply know you wont die immediately and that it is pretty tasty. Of course I am making an assumption that this is a kousa dogwood leaf here
