Anomaly: Automobile/Arbor Accident At my Abode this AM. Neighbor Kids lost control of a car this morning, hit a tree about 40 feet from my front porch. No one was hurt, but the car was totaled.

(Not what I had hoped to start with, but when the opportunity knocks, grab it.)

Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel
1/10s f/10.0 at 75.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Looking on the bright side - your first shot wasn't IN THE HOUSE afterall!

This is a frightening photo; I'm glad no one was seriously injured!

Gee, when you start a gallery, you START A GALLERY! Glad no one was hurt. What a way to start the day and start your alphabet gallery!

What a beginning, Karen. Glad it wasn't any worse, and hope tomorrow's is less dramatic.

Awesome! Albeit an accident, an accurate account of an awful adventure!!!

Wow -- you've started with a 'bang' (not a herd of turtles, I see!)...

How very frightening, Karen. Thank goodness they weren't hurt.

I'm glad it wasn't you! My first reaction when I saw this was "Oh no!" We had only a dusting this morning, and ended the day with a beautiful, cloudless sky. Which is better than the drivers of this car can say.

My neighbor owns an auto-body repair shop. He loves days like this, when people haven't yet figured out how to drive for the season. He is quiet during the summer, and busy as hell during the winter months.
