Aunt Annabelle

When I was 16 Aunt Annabelle and Uncle Bingo took me cross country, by car with their 3 small kids, to stay with them in San Fransisco for a few weeks. It was one of the best trips I can remember; we stopped at all the major touristy places and I think I can blame them for my rather bad case of wanderlust. I will miss them when they move to Florida. xxxxx

Just posted yesterday's also, am trying to play catch up.

When I look and study her, Anabella I feel comfort. As if she is someone I could sit with and talk the morning away.

I'm sure they'll miss you too. But at least now you'll have an excuse to visit Florida!

I love this one, Karen. I think the most wonderful thing about aunts is that they seem to love us unconditionally.....everyone needs an Aunt Annabelle, and I can understand why you will miss her.

She looks so kind, and sweet! The world would be a better place if we all had an Aunt Annabelle and an Uncle Bingo. :) Great shot!!

I will repeat what I said about your family. And yes, I do want to borrow it. Karen this is a wonderful candid portrait. It is full of warmth and personality and just a touch of charm. Has she seen this yet? I would be curious to know whether she can appreciate it or whether she cringes because it is her (did that make sense?).

How nice to have an Aunt like this. She reminds me a bit of my paternal grandmother.
