i think H&L 10 moved in early 80s because i seem to rember the firehouse still active when
i was younger and living over that way.

Ladder 10 was based in this house until 1960 when a new police/fire station was built at Southside Parkway and Seneca Street. This station housed Engine 25, Ladder 10, Squad 2, and B-46. Engine 30, which was based in cramped quarters on South Park and Whitfield Street. Engine 30 only remained in these quarters for a couple of years before she meet the budget axe and was stricken from the roster. This station is now in private ownership and one would never know it actually was a firehouse.
