Morning Sun Revisited

Same Santa Catalinas as in the prior post, (albeit a different vantage point), but with closer attention paid to the beautiful light on the mountains and less to the brush in the foreground.

The light is beautiful here and I like that panoramic cropping.

It does suggest a beginning of a new day. However, it could also be speaking about the end of the day as nature gets ready for the evening activities.

Nicely composed, I like this crop...and the magical light too!

It is good that you kept the foreground though. This changing light could surprise us everyday and reveal some new details.

No question about it, Jenene. This image speaks of the coming of a new day, emphasizing the dappled light on the mountain. The foreground layer is implied, not stressed. It gives the image a sense of depth, but does not call attention to itself.

Much prefer this version. Enough foreground to create depth, and the impact of light as the subject. Great work Jenene. K
