The graves of three Belz tzadiks, members of the Belz Hasidic dynasty Rokeach:
Shalom Rokeach (1779-1855), Yehoshua Rokeach (1825-1894) and Yissachar Dov Rokeach(I) (1854-1926)
Every year at least 10,000 Jews from all over the world come here to pay homage to the graves of Tzadiks.
The Hasidic Jews believe that a man's soul returns to the place where he (she) is buried, on the anniversary of his (her) death.
In Tzadik's case, Jews come to ask his spirit to help them with important life issues.
They bring small sheets of paper with requests to the esteemed rabbi's grave and put them under the gravestone.
Candles sent by those who could not come burn next to the grave.
