This is the monument to Polish military officers murdered in The Katyn massacre, also known as the Katyn Forest crime.
It was a mass execution of Polish citizens ordered by Soviet authorities in 1940. Estimates of the number of executed people ranges from 15,000 to 21,768.

What can I say, I have no words ..... but this image has given me a lot to think about................. I hope the coming generations look, read and learn.
