20060227 Marley

Ashdown Woods, Berkshire

We went for a walk and bumped into Sue's friend Stella.

I couldn't resist some shots of Stella's dog, Marley.

John, I'm pretty reliant on the autofocus anyway. It's at least 10 years since I got a pair of glasses that gave me 20-20 vision (and I've had a lot of pairs since!) and the viewfinder on my camera is too dim for my liking! Marley seems in a world of his own there. He's obviously enjoying himself! Nice shot.

Good tones in a good pic. With the paw there is shows how dogs have a "mine, mine" feeling about sticks and such.

Excellent capture, btw I like the softness!

looks like he's enjoying that stick - I love the catch of the paw holding it in place

Nice shot John, glad you sorted it out

If this appears less than sharp, it is because I belatedly discovered that the diopter control on the 300D had been moved out of sharpness, and I was totally reliant on the autofocus. I didn't take too much notice at first as it was quite cold. But all back to normal now! Phew

As we would say here in SoCal... Marley is pretty gnarly! Excellent shot.
