20060225 Freehand Painting

Gladstone Pottery Museum, Staffordshire

This man is demonstrating (totally) freehand painting on to ceramic miniatures,
before and after firing. He is one of very few people left with this
traditional skill.

The sunlight was very bright flooding into his dark studio.

That's a very tiny article he's painting. Looks very difficult indeed.
