I think the B&W works really well here - makes me concentrate on the lines and angles formed , which feel to me like the major part of the image. GMV

LOL - figures. I finally get around to commenting on PAD following this one where you want to discuss color vs B&W and I mention that I have not seen the color version of this one. Then I go this one and you have added the color version since I last looked it.

I actually like both images a great deal. I can see where the color adds a different element of interest here but at the same time I think the B&W better protrays your title of the photo as the B&W strips away the "glamour" and leaves only the raw strength. Both are very well done though.

I tend to agree that the color image is outstanding
I like the image and think that it shows great creativity to have found it
possibly it would be better in silhouette for the b/w

A lot of lines,I think to many for a B&W shot, The coloured one is better.

It really feels like a challenge doesn't it. Excellent image, John. My eyes were darting all over the screen taking in the many angles...great stuff. GMV

Wonderful composition. Lends itself well to B&W.

Great composition here so much to look at

Great shot John, and although the B&W is great I'd like to see this one in colour (must be quite dazzling!)

I have no idea what it is or does but it makes a good pic :-)

Incredible piece of machinery. Great presentation in b/w.
