20050923 The Lion and The Dinosaur

The Isle of Wight Zoo has one of the best collections of big cats in the UK.

The Zoo obviously struggles to keep afloat financially, and is somewhat dowdy. Big plastic dinosaurs by the entrance detract from the important conservation work done by the Zoo.

Whilst taking shots of this majestic lion (Charlie Brown) I noticed one of the dinosaurs behind.

Hopefully the Lions won't go the same way as the Dinosaurs! :-(
