I have wasted too much time in recent weeks trying (unseccessfully) to 'shoot' a pheasant. OK, I may be optimistic with a maximum 400mm lens available.
But I was driving along a country lane fairly early in the morning and spotted this character acting in a very amourous way towards a female.
I think this 'plump' look may be something to do with the mating game - it seems abnormal and gross.
Anyway, he was sufficently distracted for me to take a few shots - one of which was this demonstration of his 360 degree swivel head system!
