Breakfast on board

Sometimes, if I haven't made a complete hash of watching the captain berth his ship (on cruise ships they usually like to do it themselves but this is not always the case, particularly if tugs are required to assist) the pilot may be invited to remain on board for breakfast. Normally if I can I go home for a banana with my sweetheart but on this occasion she had already gone out to bring home the bacon so I accepted his kind offer. This pristine breakfast did not remain so for long....neither did my white shirt. I usually carry a bib with me but this day I forgot.

Was that tomato juice in glass John or a pure unadulterated Bloody Mary?
