Since I last went up here in Tavy Cleave, the path along the leat has
deteriorated badly, probably as a result of gorse bushes not being
kept back and general lack of mantenance, It's wide enough for a dog or a sheep
but not too good for big-footed humans any more.
Walking stick and tough hiking boots needed now to avoid twisted ankles...
good idea to tell someone where you've gone if venturing up here alone.
