A toad at the pond near my in-laws' property. It was about 1" long and I wouldn't have seen it if it hadn't moved in the corner of my eye. It let me get really close. I'm sort of irritated I left this exposure at ISO 3200 as it gave it a graininess that bothered me. This shot was done holding the camera to the side (otherwise I'd have had to get in the pond) and it provided better contrast between the toad and the mud than from behind and to the other side. Thank goodness for IS lenses.
