Lovers Key State Park
Fort Myers Beach, Florida USA

I regrettably was not able to get permission to take this shot as the patron
to the park was passing by me at an incredible speed. He and his friend disturbed
the group of gulls and terns I was shooting at the water's edge at the
Gulf of Mexico this particular day. This is a good example of oversharpening an image.

I can't see him being disappointed with the shot, permission or no. It's a great combination action shot / portrait. You've picked him out from the background well (admittedly at 300mm and f/5.6 it'd be hard not to 8^>), and the light gives great "sculpting" to his face.
