Ahh, Salmon.
I should keep a count of how many photos in this project contains sushi.
This shot is about more than the sushi. It is about seeing light, and capturing it.
I think a challenge of photography is seeing the usual, unusually.
I've sat in this restaurant so many times because the sushi is so good. Tonight, it tasted delicious as usual, but it looked different. This piece of salmon nigiri was peeking out from behind this "curtain of darkness". It, however, could not hide from my camera, or my belly.

But you are right, this is salmon flesh/muscle, an internal organ!
