A child's "job" is to play.
In adult rehabilitation medicine, we are often times trying to get a person back to their job. In the case of pediatric rehabiltation, that job is school and play.
Many people devote their time and energy towards this goal.
Tonight, a group came in and put on this wonderful puppet show, organized by the Recreation Therapy department. The kids laughed, clapped, cheered, and showed their joy in many ways...as did I.
